Information

CASA volunteers are over the age of 21 with no criminal background and a big heart.  To become a volunteer you will fill out a CASA application, go through face to face interviews, be pre-approved by our Board, go through 30 hours of training, receive final approval from our Board, be sworn in by a Judge, and receive your first case.  At that point you will contact the Social Worker, the family, friends, teachers, doctors and anyone who may have relevant information about the child's situation.  When the child's court date arrives, you will have a written report to present to the Judge about the child's circumstances.
